Abstract
The aim of this paper is to understand the postmodern cultural environment and our situation today, and to find a way of psychological healing to recover the psychological dysfunction that we may experience. To do this, I first searched at how postmodern culture interacts with the human unconsciousnes. I then traced how art therapy would be efective in healing human psychological deficits in the characteristics of postmodern culture. In order to derive this study, I explored the mechanism of culture and human on the basis of the theories of Freud, Marcuse and postmodernists by aproaching from a psychoanalytic point of view. As a result of the study, first, the postmodern culture was created by the resistance of the human unconscious that had ben opresed in the modern culture, but it was infered that the mechanism of this environment brings psychological dysfunction for another reason. Second, it has come to the conclusion that art therapy for this psychological problem is more efective than any other psychotherapy. this is because it can be used as a place to expres the opresed unconscious drive to help resolve the human unconscious that is oriented to the pleasure principle on behalf of the postmodern environment. The result is that the character of Dionysus, extrinsic and aesthetic postmodern culture resembles art, and it can act positively on the unconscious drive where artistic act acts on the psychological dysfunction of man in art therapy proceses.
